Logging into your library account

You log into your library account by clicking the My Account button found on the catalogues homepage or the left-hand menu.

Did you get your card in 2009 or earlier?
The first time you log into your TNRD Library account, you login using your library card number (located on the back of your library card) and your last name, all in lowercase, as password. You will then need to create a new password. This new password must be a minimum of 7 characters long and contain at least 1 number.

Did you get your card after 2009?
If yes, then we would have given you a slip of paper with a temporary password. The first time you log into your TNRD Library account, you login using your library card number (located on the back of your library card) and the temporary password we gave you. You will then need to create a new password. This new password must be a minimum of 7 characters long and contain at least 1 number.

If you are at the library and do not remember your username or password.
Just ask at the desk and the staff will reset it for you. You will be able to login using your library card number (located on the back of your library card) and the temporary password we gave you. You will then need to create a new password. This new password must be a minimum of 7 characters long and contain at least 1 number.

If you are not at the library right now and do not remember your password.
Call your local branch or the Kamloops Library at 250-372-5145. We can reset your password over the telephone. You will be able to login using your library card number (located on the back of your library card) and the temporary password we gave you. You will then need to create a new password. This new password must be a minimum of 7 characters long and contain at least 1 number.

In all of the above cases, after you log in, you must reset your password, and you have the option of choosing a unique username.

Adding a username.
You can create a new username that is easier to remember than your library card number. When you have logged into My Account, you can add a new username. You will then be able to access your account information with either your library card number or your username.
