Book Club
The Kamloops Library has two book clubs: the Wednesday book club which meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7: 00 p.m. and the Sunday book club which meets the first Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
The North Kamloops Library has a book club which meets the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
The Wednesday group runs September through May.
The Sunday Group runs January through April.
The Tuesday group runs September through March.
The titles discussed in the Wednesday book club so far include One Amazing Thing by Chitra Divakaruni., The Mistress of Nothing by Kate Pullinger, The Help by Kathryn Stockett, The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, and Last Night at the Lobster by Stewart O’Nan.
The Sunday Book Club began again in January. They have discussed Left Neglected by Lisa Genova
The Tuesday Group has discussed Little Bee by Chris Cleave, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski and The Cellist of Sarajevo by Steven Galloway.
