Shirley Collins

The Kamloops Public Library is very pleased to host a local author in November: Shirley Collins reads from, You Look Just Like Her, a murder mystery. A small preview of this story reads,”Hillary needs a change. She needs to move and find a career and a man -- in that order. So she sets out for western Canada to start a new life. The disappearance of three university students in her new town has Hillary reconsidering her move when a detective on the case changes her mind...”

Shirley Collins lives in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. This is her second book. Her first book, Asparagus to Computers – 100 Years of Kamloops Schools, is a nonfiction book she wrote while working as a seventh grade teacher. She is now at work on her third book, Naked on the Inside, a psychological thriller.
